5-year-old Nada Thaer Emran Al Astal from Khan Younis was a bright little girl who liked to carefully look after her things. “She used to sing all the time and preferred to play by herself. She was shy around strangers,” said her uncle.
On 24 July 2014, the Al Astal’s home was attacked by Israeli warplanes. Six people were killed: the mother, the father, and the four children including Nada.
