Location Rafah
Fourteen-year-old Ahmed from Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip was an obedient boy unlike his brother Ameen. He wanted to attend university to complete his studies. He wanted to have a computer and a mobile phone. He liked to take good care of his looks. “His father relied on him a lot in his work,” his grandfather, Mahrous, says, who is 66.
The Siam family house was located adjacent to the Abu Sneimah home that was bombarded by Israeli missiles. The Siam family decided to evacuate. As soon as they went out to the street, they were hit by a missile. Ten were killed instantly, including Ahmed. Many others were wounded.
“It’s so hard losing the family all at once,” added Mahrous.
