Twelve-year-old Ameer was from an area called Al Seiamat in Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip. Ameer was a distinguished and daring boy with a strong personality. He liked to play with other children and to make and fly kites. During summer vacations, he helped his father cultivate the land. “He liked to have new and different experiences,” his father said.
On 24 July2014, Amir and his cousins were sitting in front of Amir's house when an Israeli missile struck them. “His relatives found him lying on the ground. They thought that he was asleep but he was dead,” his father added.
