17-year-old Ibrahim from Jabalia in the north of the Gaza Strip was physically strong. He left school to financially support his father. He worked on a cow farm. “He liked football and his favorite team was FC Barcelona,” said his 44-year-old mother.
On 26 July 2014 Ibrahim’s concern about the cows on the farm prompted him to go to the farm to check up on them. He also wanted to bring some milk for his displaced family. An Israeli missile targeted him. His cousin tried to help him, but he died minutes later. “I miss him, his jokes, and his laughs. He had an amazing sense of humor and spread joy wherever he went.” his mother added.
