7-year-old Maram was a very pretty and organized girl. She used to put a lot of effort into the way she looked and her hairstyles. She always helped her family. She used to feel a little jealous of her brother Zeyad and used to compete with him on everything. Her father encouraged her to get high marks at school. “She liked to play with her toys and she named her toy Lamiaa after her mother,” said her aunt.
On 21st August 2014, the whole family was riding a motorcycle cart, heading to their land to get some work done, when they were targeted by Israeli forces. 3 of them were immediately killed. Maram and others died later from their injuries.
