Thirteen-year-old Mohamed from Al Shate’e refugee camp in the west of Gaza City was an obedient and beloved child. He loved playing football with his friends, and his father bought him a new bicycle, which he loved riding. His ambition was to be a doctor in the future. “His younger brother Karim was very close to him, and now he misses Mohamed so much,” said his mother.
Mohamed often played outside on the street with his friends in the refugee camp. On 28 July 2014, the first day of Eid, when Ibrahim and his friends were playing in the street, they were attacked by an Israeli warplane. Ten children were killed in the attack including Ahmed.
