Noor Mohamed Shaker Abu Assi was just one month old when he was killed. His family was from the Al Zannah area in Khan Younis but they had evacuated their home and were staying in the Al Saudi neighborhood in Rafah.
On 1 August 2014, Israeli aircraft attacked a building adjacent to the home in which they were staying. Noor was killed while he was sleeping.
