Eight-year-old Ola from Gaza City was a calm child. She was close to her mother. During the war, she stuck to her mother. Her ambition was to be a dentist. She was her brothers' friend. Whenever she bought something, she would offer others half of it. She was very talented in school, especially in math where she was the student the most capable of solving the difficult questions. She liked cleaning and organizing the house. "The day of the bombardment, I saw my children hugging each other," said her mother.
At 5:00 pm on 30 July 2014, when a truce was declared, Ola’s grandfather took all of the children to the roof of the house. The children were busy playing in the open air when, without warning, they were targeted by an Israeli drone. Seven people were immediately killed, six of them children, including Ola.
