Nine-year-old Zeyad from Gaza City was a clever, distinguished, and obedient boy. He was always helping his father. He was becoming a good mechanic and electrician. His ambition was to become a specialist in medical tests. He loved writing and drawing and spent his spare time watching cartoons. He especially liked Tom and Jerry. “He was very curious, so he used to ask many questions about many different subjects,” said his aunt, who he spent his last night playing games with. 

On 21st August 2014, Zeyad's whole family were riding on a motorcycle cart heading to their land in order to carry out some work when they were hit by an Israeli missle. Three of them were immediately killed. Zeyad sustained serious injuries and died ten days later.
