Thirteen-year-old Amna was from the town of Beit Lahia3 in the North of the Gaza Strip was a brave child who did not get scared during the war. She loved her friends. “She liked Indian and action movies,” says her mother.
On 21 August 2014, Israeli warplanes launched a missile at Amna's house without any prior warning. The house became a pile of rubble. Amna was immediately killed in the strike along with her brother, Ahmed, 16. Her body was found meters away from her house.
