13-year-old Esraa from Jabalia refugee camp in the north of the Gaza Strip was a funny and humorous child. She liked to play with her friends and help her mother with household tasks. "I still miss her and her jokes," said her 20-year-old brother who survived the attack that killed her.
Esraa was killed in the Balata family massacre along with her mother and nine other family members who were inside the house when it was targeted by Israeli missiles. "I always wonder; why were they killed? Until this day I cannot find an answer," her grandfather added.
