At approximately 10:30 am on Friday, 1 August 2014, an Israeli warplane fired a missile at tons of people who were fleeing from their homes in the Al Tanour neighborhood in eastern Rafah. The group was on Al Oroba Street, in the east of Al Jnena neighborhood. 17 people were killed in the attack, including Anas. He was 4-years-old at the time of his death.
The family did not wish to speak with Al Mezan’s field worker about Anas.
